⛳️ Here's the scenario

Meet Ryan.

Six years in corporate HR. Now running a solo consulting practice helping new managers lead their first team without burning out.

He knew his stuff cold.

Weekly tweets. LinkedIn posts. A newsletter with 40 subscribers.

But nothing landed.

"How to have better 1-on-1s."

"3 signs your team is disengaged."

"Why feedback fails."

Posts like that. Every week.

They described his topic. But they never made anyone feel anything.

His best tweet in a month got 4 likes. (One was from his mum.)

One Saturday he was at a bookshop, flipping through a business title, trying to figure out what made some posts go viral when most died in silence.

A woman at the table nearby noticed the book.

Here's what each prompt does:

▶️ Prompt 1 — Find the 7 pains: Maps out the specific pain your reader feels across 7 different areas — so you know exactly which one to speak to.

▶️ Prompt 2 — Get their exact words: Rewrites each pain in the language your reader actually uses — the words they say out loud to a friend, not the cleaned-up version.

▶️ Prompt 3 — Write the tweet: Takes the sharpest pain point and builds a complete, ready-to-post tweet around it — opening line, body, and a close that sticks.

🎯 Step 1: Find the 7 pains

⏱️ 5 minutes

Most tweets fail because they talk about a topic instead of a feeling. This prompt gives your AI sidekick a list of seven different kinds of pain your reader might carry — from confusion and embarrassment to fear and frustration — and asks it to find one specific version of each pain for your exact reader.

I want to find the problems my target audience has when 
  trying to get an outcome.

Here is my topic, target audience, and sub-topic:
- Topic: {e.g. leadership for new managers}
- Target audience: {e.g. first-time managers in their 30s}
- Sub-topic: {e.g. giving feedback without damaging the relationship}

For each of the 7 types of pain below, identify 1 specific, 
  tangible problem my audience has.

The 7 types of pain:
- Social: Pain related to acceptance and belonging
- Mental: Pain related to confusion and not knowing what to do
- Physical: Pain related to feeling stuck and unable to move forward
- Sexual: Pain related to trust, connection, and emotional safety
- Spiritual: Pain related to feeling disconnected, alone, or like a victim
- Financial: Pain related to fear of loss and scarcity
- Emotional: Pain related to unhappiness and blaming others

Return a table with two columns:
1. Pain type
2. Specific tangible problem for my audience

Be specific. Name real situations, not vague concepts.

Seven pain points came back.

Ryan scanned the list and stopped at Mental Pain: "New managers lie awake wondering if their team actually respects them — or just tolerates them."

That was real. He'd felt that himself in his first management role.

But a list of pain points is just the start.

He needed the actual words his readers use.

That's Step 2.

🔍 Step 2: Get their exact words

A pain point written in professional language still keeps the reader at a distance. This prompt rewrites each pain in the exact words your reader would use telling a close friend — the specific, honest version. Those words are what make a tweet feel like it was written by someone who truly understands.

Now add a column to the table.

For each pain point, rewrite it in the specific words the 
  target audience would use to describe their problem — 
  like they're telling a trusted friend.

Be very specific. Vague language loses the reader.

Here's the difference:
VAGUE: "I struggle with giving feedback."
SPECIFIC: "I've been putting off this conversation for three 
  weeks because every time I start, I imagine their face 
  falling and I just... don't."

Use that level of detail for every pain type.

The table now had a third column.

After: "Social Pain (their words): 'Everyone else in the leadership meeting seemed to know things I didn't. I smiled and nodded. I have no idea if they think I belong in that room.'"

Ryan read it twice.

That was something his readers had said to him in coaching calls.

Seeing it written down like that felt like a superpower.

One pain point left. Now he needed to turn it into a tweet.

🧠 Step 3: Write the tweet

Now comes the part that matters. This prompt takes the pain point that hit hardest — in the reader's exact words — and builds a complete tweet around it. The structure is specific: open with the pain so the reader thinks "that's me," show them they're not alone, give one step, and close with something that sticks.

Now take the pain type and the customer's exact words from 
  Step 2 that feel most powerful.

Write a tweet (280 characters or less) in a conversational, 
  helpful, and actionable tone.

Use this structure:
1. Open with a strong statement that shows you understand 
   the exact pain — 15 words or less
2. One sentence on what the reader should do to solve it — 
   10 words or less
3. One sentence on why solving it matters — 15 words or less
4. 3-5 tips in a bulleted list — 8 words or less each
5. Close with one punchy line — 10 words or less

Format for readability. Separate sentences with a line break.

Use the reader's own words wherever possible. No jargon. 
  No corporate language. Write like a human talking to 
  a human they care about.

Ryan picked Mental Pain: "New managers lie awake wondering if their team actually respects them — or just tolerates them."
